This group covers the AWS services that belong to the client side of an application — building and hosting it, testing it on real hardware, and messaging the people using it. The services it depends on but does not own live elsewhere in this section.

AWS Amplify builds and hosts web applications from a Git repository, and defines the backend they talk to. Start here for the difference between Gen 2, which new projects should use, and Gen 1, which reaches end of life in May 2027.

AWS Device Farm runs manual and automated tests against real phones, tablets and desktop browsers hosted by AWS.

Amazon Pinpoint is reaching end of support on 30 October 2026. The page covers what is being withdrawn, what continues as AWS End User Messaging, and where each capability moves — read it before designing anything that sends messages to end users.
